Sign Up Form for "The Dagger Brush" with David Hoff Wednesday October 21st, 2009 at 9:30pm EST.
Join David Hoff in his Fresno Studio to explore and learn about the Dagger Liners; one of the most unique and versatile brushes available to ceramic brushstroke artists and decorators. The Dagger
Liner is a Round, a Liner and occasionally a Shader all rolled in to one brush. During this live webinar we will easily show you how easy it is to complete a variety of Dagger Liner Strokes; creating
this unique fantasy design. (see photo). As with our previous webinars featuring brushstrokes we will continue to work on boards completing the basic brushstrokes for you to learn and to practice.
When the demonstration board is completed we will move onto the actual Sushi plate by Cardinal Design using Duncan's Concepts to complete the piece. We shall also give you a hand out of a second
Dagger Project completed in EZ-Strokes and Cover-Coats. Finally, we shall have the start of discussion on Clear Glazes application with a proper glaze brush. Over the next few webinars we will discuss
a variety of issues relating to clear glaze. So please join us with the continuing series on brushwork and with the discussion and demonstration of clear glaze applications

Contemporary Designs on White and Terra Cotta Bisque with Mike Harbridge
Michael will cover some basic banding on bisque prior to showing how to create uniform floral designs while only using one large, soft fan brush. The flowers are created by simply squeezing color
directly out of the bottle. Confused? Its actually a very easy process for children and adults to make uniform designs like flowers and other shapes without the use of a pattern or brush strokes. The
color seriously goes directly from the bottle to the ware. Use the technique on white or terra cotta bisque. Perfect for traditional or contemporary studios.

Christmas Quickies with Frank Kahanic
Frank and Jaque Kahanic are Contemporary Studio Owners. They understand the importance of "Quick n' EZ" in a Contemporary Studio environment!" Let them walk you through several
techniques illustrating EZ techniques that work for them -- which are perfect just prior to the holidays. All techniques will be Christmas related! The quick Christmas Plaid Technique is sure to be
impressive for plain pieces, or can be incorporated into design work. (Wait until you see the clever "Plaid" on the mustache of Santa!)
These Christmas Quickie Techniques can be completed using your existing Bisque Strokes such as Concepts, or Stroke n' Coats. All techniques are fairly simple, quick, and will not require loads
of time to complete. Nothing is "base-coated" or requires extra dry time. Everything can simply be glazed with a traditional "Dipping Clear" Glaze.
so you can begin using them immediately in your studio or for classes! (Custom made gift plates are always cherished during the Holidays!) BONUS: You will be provided with four (7) -- YES SEVEN --
Christmas patterns for purchasing this Video! What a deal is that?

teach or conduct Kids Pottery Camps. One and all will love these intensely colored designs, which also have a cool “puff-paint” or dimensional textured finish. All pieces are done with the
intensely colored Neon “bisque-glaze” products & French Dimensions by Duncan Enterprises. (Yep – you bet, the Mayco Stroke n’ Coats & their dimensional product will work as well.)
